Personal Service
We offer a truly tailored and personal service with our valuers visiting clients and discussing possible sale of goods in the comfort of their own surroundings. Advice is given on what items should or should not be offered at auction.
Collection
Items entrusted to us for auction are handled with the greatest of care and are fully insured against all risks to the point of sale. They are collected from clients by personal arrangement, delivered to auction, catalogued and lotted with photographs if appropriate. Our collection services are charged at a local rate only and we will be happy to supply you with a no-obligation quote.
Sale Conditions
Clients are kept up to date with the progress of their goods through the auction process and notified promptly of results, with immediate settlement of accounts and a statement issued. This personal care is truly unique within the auction business.
Commission rates for Auction
- 12.5 % items selling over £300
- 15% items selling between £51-£300
- 17.5% items selling to £50. Minimum commission £5 per lot , sold or unsold
- 2% Insurance to point of sale
