The founding partner of the company, established in 1970, David Manning, had been a valuer for over 35 years and had a wealth of experience in all aspects of valuations from liquidations to asset realisation. He also regularly auctioned a diversity of goods including antiques, jewellery, furniture, plant and machinery and formed an enduring family business of integrity. It is with great regret and sadness that we record his passing at the end of 2003. David was a much loved and respected man who will be sorely missed, not only locally but throughout the UK. The company will continue to consolidate the business of Auctioneering in his name.
